How is AquaRevival regenerative media filtration cost-effective compared to sand bed or bag filtration?
As a Capital Expenditure
During new construction, AquaRevival’s technologically superior commercial regenerative media filters allow you to build a smaller pump room. These savings can often offset the cost of the filters entirely. For retrofits, our award-winning filters fit through standard pump room doors (in most cases), eliminating demolition costs. The savings of building a smaller pump room with a lower ceiling can help offset the full cost of an AquaRevival regenerative media filter system.
As an Operating Expenditure
Because AquaRevival filters don’t backwash, and instead revive low-cost regenerative media, facilities typically see:

Aquatics facilities: Our systems are fully automated, freeing up Certified Pool Operators (CPOs) for their other important tasks besides backwashing sand bed filters.
Drinking water facilities: Because we filter down to sub-micron levels, AquaRevival systems extend the intervals between required maintenance on carbon beds and RO plants. Our systems are ANSI/NSF 61 and ANSI/NSF 372 compliant and designed to be cleaned-in-place (CIP). Unlike costly bag filters, we use cost-effective, NSF 61-approved perlite regenerative media, which is sterile as supplied.
How does the AquaRevival filter warranty compare to other regenerative media filter warranties?
AquaRevival’s award-winning filters carry a standard 15-year warranty on the filter tank, 5 years on elements, and 1 year on the control system, making it much better than the standard 10-year tank-only warranty offered by many of our competitors. Our tanks don’t have a lining to fail or require annual inspection. Backed by multiple patents and regulated market certifications, our superior design supports a superior warranty.
Why use fully passivated 304L stainless steel tanks for particulate filtration of drinking and recreational water?

Where does AquaRevival manufacture its filters?
AquaRevival operates a 50,000-square-foot factory in Wisconsin, with supplier partners in Ohio, Kentucky, Florida, and elsewhere in the U.S. All fabrication, welding, assembly, inspection, and testing take place in Wisconsin. We sell and service our filters globally through high-quality partnerships.
How are AquaRevival filters shipped?
Every filter ships with ShockWatch® and TiltWatch® indicators to protect customers and support freight claims in the event of in-transit damage. Filters arrive in a high-quality wooden crate, typically with all necessary accessories included (excluding main piping and pipe fittings). Because filters never need to be tipped over in transit, the risk of standing them upright in the pump room is reduced.
What comes included with an AquaRevival filter?
We supply a host of other items to make your installation go smoothly. AquaRevival is the only manufacturer that includes four sight glasses per filter, along with the automated controller, automated valves, manual valves, air compressor, media vacuum, fittings, and media—all packaged in a fully enclosed, heavy-duty wooden crate for a stress-free installation.
What is the payback period on an AquaRevival filter?
Typically less than two years. Depending on location, the payback can begin before the filter is even installed. How? Our patented filters are significantly smaller than sand bed filters and competing regenerative filters, which means a lower-height pump room for new builds and easy pump-room-door clearance for retrofits. Because our filters use so little water for clean-in-place (roughly twice the filter sump capacity per month), sewer permits can often be substantially downsized, in some cases saving over a million gallons of water per year compared to similarly sized sand-bed systems. Add that to the BTU savings from not heating backwash water and reduced chemical loss, AquaRevival filter systems are a solid investment for your business. How does AquaRevival design for improved safety?
Rather than using a “bump tire” (an unguarded moving component that could injure a worker, rupture on contact with tools, or leak into the filter housing), AquaRevival designed and uses an intrinsically safe revival mechanism. The compressed air cylinder cannot leak into the filter housing and has no exposed moving parts for personnel to contact. It’s a design that’s inherently safe by engineering, not by caution.
